Same city: When the seller and the buyer are in the same city (for example, Karachi to Karachi), the parcel has a shorter trip.
Between cities: When the parcel goes between cities or provinces (for example, Lahore to Peshawar), it has a longer trip, which can cost more.
2. Real Weight vs Size Weight
Couriers often charge by whichever is higher: the real weight or a weight worked out from the box size. Big but light items, such as storage boxes or pillows, may cost more to send. Clothes are usually light and small, so they tend to cost less.

For example, with 5,000, a 50 cm × 40 cm × 30 cm box counts as 12 kg, even if it only weighs 2 kg.
