Daraz Tracking Not Updating — Why Status Pauses & What to Do
Quick Answer
Daraz tracking often pauses while a parcel travels between cities, because it is only scanned when it reaches a hub. We could not confirm set time limits. Check you are using the tracking number from your order details, not the order number, and look at the estimated delivery date. If it has passed, contact Daraz customer support on 021-111-132729.
Why Does Daraz Tracking Stop Updating?
Seeing the same status for a day or two can be worrying. But in most cases, a pause in tracking is a normal part of a parcel travelling between cities, not a sign that it is lost.
Tracking is not live GPS. It only updates when someone scans the barcode on your parcel.
The 5 Most Common Reasons Tracking Pauses
Travelling Between Cities
When a parcel travels between big cities, for example from Karachi to Lahore or Peshawar, it goes by road. There are no scans while the truck is on the way.
Booked but Not Yet Collected
When a seller prints a shipping label, tracking may show “Data Received” or “Booked”. The parcel may still be with the seller, waiting to be collected. Tracking moves on once the courier collects it and scans it at the first hub.
Big Sales and Busy Hubs
During big sales such as 11.11 or Eid, hubs handle many more parcels than usual, so scans can take longer to appear.
Sundays and Public Holidays
Deliveries and some local work may pause on Sundays and public holidays. A parcel that reaches your area at the weekend may not show a new scan until the next working day.
Using the Order Number Instead of the Tracking Number
If you enter your Daraz order number in a courier tracker, no updates will show. Use the courier tracking number from your order details.
What to Do: A Simple Checklist
- Check the estimated delivery date: In the Daraz app, look at the estimated delivery date. Tracking often pauses while the parcel is still on time.
- Check Daraz’s public tracker: Paste your tracking number into Daraz’s public tracker at daraz.pk/track-orders-online/ to see whether there are newer updates.
- Give it time between cities: If the last update says the parcel left a sorting centre, give it some time to reach the next city before you worry.
